Imagine a world without money with me, let’s play around with thoughts and creativity!
Hello! Welcome to the world without money!
In this world, no one owns possession, everything is shared and you can queue and borrow things like toys, tools, cars, houses lands and even sky — — everthing that could be owned in the past by a person, a company, and a country. I’m not sure if you can borrow ‘‘rights’’ or things that are abstractive, we’ll find it out together in this game.
Let’s start with some introductions of game rules and principles:
Since you own nothing, there would be no concept of ‘‘exchange’’ as it was even long long time ago before money existed.
Everyone is born to take their own reponsibility for living in this game of life which mean parents don’t get more priorities for ‘‘taking care’’ of a baby.
This world is steered by AI artificial intelligence, also known as Anni. Machines take over most of the crucial works to keep us alive. We remove unnecessary jobs and productions that could only be made by human. We keep lifestyle as simple as possible, reduce greeds and luxury entertainments.
Of course we can make a side project/a mini-game in the game to program a world by removing money directly in 2023 which is next year and see what do we have to work on and what would happen to human beings over there.
What’s the goal? Yes, we believe by removing money the world can avoid many problems that torture majority nowadays. For instance, war, poverty, inequality, disease, birth ratio and environment crisis…etc. I don’t mean the capitalism will dispear and socialism rises. Maybe capitalism will shine somehow after we develop this world game more completely and we might find out capitalism totally take over in the other way. Imagine if everyone is queuing for a specific stuff, what would happen? We don’t know yet.
Now, it’s my turn to ask question.
I believe since a person is born, he/she would not need to go to school anymore. All they need is to learn a language to be able to communicate with community. Everyone has chance to reach any kind of knowledge based on their own willings and interests.
Basically you play until you die here.
My question is, how would life looks like in this world in your opinions.
What would a human being chase after when there’s no money to estimate his/her value? Fame? Appearance? Do we still try to find something to make us differ from others and stand out? Do we satisfy with playing around, building relationship and doing what we want to do? What kind of stress would be top or common problem in this world?
